Breakfast and After-School Clubs
Our breakfast club is available daily during term time starting at 7.45am, costing £3.50 per session. Children are able to enjoy a healthy breakfast, as well as join in some fun activities before the start of school. Evidence shows that providing a healthy school breakfast at the start of the school day can contribute to improved readiness to learn, increased concentration, and improved wellbeing and behaviour. Breakfast club is also a great way to ease nervous or anxious children into the school day with the children getting to socialise with children from other year groups and form new friendships.
We also run an after-school club. This runs from 3.20 – 4.30pm every day. Our Sports TA Apprentice will be offering a combination of sport/games. A member of school staff will be indoors running activities, including arts and crafts. Children are also able to complete reading, homework etc. during this time. There is a snack and drink available too. The cost is £3.50 a session.
Parents/carers are able to book places for both clubs via Arbor. We do ask that parents/carers book places for both clubs in advance, rather than just turning up on the day, so we can make the necessary arrangements with regard to staffing and resources. We do not charge parents until after your child has attended the club, so if you book and then your child is unable to attend you will not be charged.
